Super Lemon Haze, the name says it all. It’s a super-powered, lemon tasting Sativa strain that puts you in a haze of giggles and laughter.
Super Lemon Haze or SLH, for short, has quite the history. It won the 2008 and 2009 High Times Cannabis Cup award for best Sativa, cementing its place in cannabis lore.
Creating the strain was no easy task. Arjan from Green House Seeds took the scenic route in developing Super Lemon Haze.
Arjan first took the ever-popular Super Silver Haze and crossbred it with the offspring of Haze x Skunk#1 x Northern Lights #5. The resulting strain was then crossed with Lemon Skunk to create SLH.
What a wild ride!
Aesthetics
Super Lemon is a beautiful strain. Trichomes cover the dense, tall lime green bud.
As you’re most likely already aware of, SLH is as lemony (is that a word?) of a strain you’ll find. From start to finish, the smoke is lemon and tart with a dash of sweetness.
Smoking or smelling the strain is the same, almost like cutting into a freshly baked lemon meringue pie.
Enthusiasts of potent tasting strains will love SLH.
Super Lemon Haze Effects + Benefits
This strain is the Ferrari of cannabis in more than one way. For starters, as previously mentioned, it’s a gorgeous looking strain. Secondly, it pulls off the line and hits 60mph in 1 seconds flat.
So get ready, buckle up and enjoy the ride.
From the jump, SLH sweeps you off your feet and takes the edge off. Seconds after smoking, mental awareness and energy take-off, sending you on a direct path to the stratosphere.
SLH produces a refreshing shot of creativity and imagery. It gets you up on your feet, dancing, laughing and enjoying the moment. Most people note the strain excels in social situations, freeing you from anxiety.
SLH is a sativa dominant hybrid with lots of mental activity, but it’s far from bashful physically. The strain features a powerful body-stone that doesn’t leave one stuck to the couch.
Since Lemon Haze is a potent strain that doesn’t inebriate, many medical patients flock to it. Those with social anxiety, depression and stress find high resolves in SLH.
Those looking to combat fatigue, lethargy and brain fog are recommended to give it a try.
